It's Nick Cannon vs Eminem over Mariah comments

Last week it hit the news that more files from Eminem's forthcoming album 'Relapse' were leaked onto the internet. After Em's song 'Crack a Bottle' was leaked prior completion in Dec 08, Eminem took measures to avoid more leaks ensuring that only Dr Dre and himself had copies of the Relapse album.

No doubt Eminem is not impressed. At the time of the Crack a Bottle leak, Em told Billboard he felt "really heated" after hearing that the track was online, adding: "It wasn't close to finished, and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down. It's like someone catches you peeping in your window before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up! Nobody is supposed to see that."

Now Nick Cannon, husband of Mariah Carey has taken major offence at Eminem's comments about his wife on one of the tracks off the Relapse album titled "Bagpipes from Baghdad". Mariah and Eminem reportedly dated for 6 months and apparently ended on a sour note as this is the third time Eminem has mentioned Mariah in one of his songs.

Last week after hearing the track himself Nick Cannon decided to publically hit back at Eminem, challenging him on his offical website blog. Due to over-popularity and too many comments the post has since been taken down but this is what Nick originally wrote in the Blog Post:

"A mediocre (at best) Eminem record that sounds like it was written in 2001. At first, I thought it was old material that had been dug up from when dude 'fantasized' about having a pretend fling with Mariah. ... But all of a sudden I hear my name in the verse! My first reaction was like, 'This is his new sh--? Wow, that's too bad.' "

"Believe it or not, Mariah is the same racial mixture as our beloved president, Barack Obama."

"Maybe I'm going too far, but I thought we got past the days where white men could spew vulgar obscenities at our beautiful queens and get away with it. What's next? Are we going to let this trash say something horrible about our lovely first lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama? Or would Marshall have talked sideways out of his neck like this about Oprah Winfrey? This act of racist bigotry cannot go unnoticed. Calling my wife a 'c---' and a 'whore' is way worse than anything Don Imus could have ever said. So trust, repercussions will be served. Anybody got Al Sharpton's number?! LOL Let's not forget about Eminem's amateur mixtape rants of calling African Americans 'ni----' and how he hates 'black bi---es.' "

"So, Miss Marshall, I'm going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife. This is going to be fun! It's however you want it! Just remember, you did this to yourself! Your legacy has now been tainted from this day forth! You will now be known as the rapper who lost to corny-ass Nick Cannon!"

I guess Nick is as protective of his wife as any loving husband would be, he obviously adores her. Just last week the entertainer surprised Mariah with video montage of their first year together for their wedding anniversary at their party celebration in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino & Resort. Eminem as The Punisher on cover of XXL Mag

Eminem is covering all bases to ensure his forthcoming album release is massive! The rapper will be on the cover of the special collector's edition of XXL magazine for the June 2009 issue, posing as the notorious vigilante The Punisher. The issue will be out on the stands just 2 weeks before the rappers much anticipated 6th studio album Relapse is out. On His Drug Addiction

“I wasn’t ready mentally. I wasn’t ready to give up the drugs. I didn’t really think I had a problem. Basically, I went in, and I came out. I relapsed, and I spent the next three years struggling with it. Also, at that time, I felt like I wanted to pull back, because my drug problem had got so bad. I felt like, Maybe if I take a break, maybe this will help. I started to get into the producer role more… I can still be out there with my music, like with the Re-Up album, but I don’t have to be in the spotlight the whole time.”

On Proof’s Death

“Everyone felt his loss, from his kids, to his wife, to everyone. But, for some reason, in hindsight, the way I felt was almost like it happened to just me… Maybe at the time I was a little bit selfish with it. I think it kind of hit me so hard. It just blindsided me. I just went into such a dark place that, with everything, the drugs, my thoughts, everything. And the more drugs I consumed, and it was all depressants I was taking, the more depressed I became, the more self-loathing I became… By the way, I’m just now at the point where I’m better talking about it. It took me so long to get out of that place where I couldn’t even speak about it without crying or wanting to cry… Proof was the anchor. He was everything to D12. And not just the group-for me, personally, he was everything.”

On T.I., Lil Wayne & Hip-Hop

“I stayed up on the music, and obviously I watch TV and saw what was going on. And without naming any names, it just felt like hip-hop was going downhill. And it seemed like kinda fast. You know, in them three years, it was like everybody just cares about the hook and the beat; nobody really cares about substance. But with this new T.I. album, with this new Lil Wayne album of recent, it seems like things are looking a lot better now. You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know. Or T.I., where you hear shit and you’re like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that! You know what I mean? Or you hear all the compound-syllable rhyming and all that. It just seems like now the craft is getting cared about more.”
