Hugh Hefners sport obsessed ex-girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson is getting her own reality show, E! announced recently. Hef's three girlfriends, Holly, Kendra and Bridget were famed by E!'s reality show "Girls of the Playboy Mansion" and all announced a while back that they were in talks with producers about Spin-off reality shows, however this is the first official announcement of a go-ahead for any of them. The show, titled "Kendra" will will follow the 23 year old star as she moves out of a life of pure luxury at the Playboy mansion, which has been her home for 4 years. For the first time since becoming one of Hef's three girlfriends, she will not have 24/7 room service, cleaners, cooks and a social secretary. She will be moving in with her fiancé, Philadelphia Eagles' Hank Baskett (whom she's marrying on June 27), and cameras will capture the Playboy model's attempts to look after herself without the aid of any house helpers.
The show has been picked up for eight episodes and the network says she'll have to learn how to do laundry, cook, grocery shop and pay her own bills. It should be quite an interesting watch as Kendra finds it difficult to get to appointments on time, find anything or keep her room tidy even with the current aids she has grown accustomed to.
The reality show will also follow Wilkinson and her fiance, on a road trip as she helps him move from New Mexico to California. Their on-camera growing pains include balancing her party-girl lifestyle with his conservative, religious mindset, the pair even pray every night before dinner.
"Throughout the five highly successful seasons of the Girls Next Door, Kendra has developed a loyal fan-base with her outrageous personality and trademark laugh," E!'s Lisa Berger said in a statement. "Now she's faced with the reality of making it outside the gates of the Mansion and as Kendra's fans are aware, you never know what she's going to do next."
The Network Tells us: Between wedding planning, Wilkinson will still find time to hang out with Hef, and Girls Next Door roommates Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. Playboy playmate pals Amber Campisi and Britney Binger will also make cameos. Her mom, grandmother and brother are nervous about Wilkinson's ability to live on her own, so they'll be featured as well.
